FAQ: Selecting a Thread Adapter

Our product naming convention for thread adapters is FEMALE thread first followed by MALE thread. The FEMALE end of the thread adapter fits onto your muzzle while the MALE end accepts your muzzle device. To select the correct thread adapter, match the FEMALE thread to your barrel thread and match the MALE thread to your muzzle device.

As an example, take the situation illustrated below. Your barrel is threaded 1/2″×28 and you want to install a thread adapter to allow you to mount a muzzle device with 5/8″×24 threading.
