Description

1/2″×28 RH Classic Muzzle Brake / Compensator [FOR: 300 Win Mag, Howa 1500] – SKU#7200

The Classic Muzzle Brake is intended to keep the traditional lines of your firearm and closely match your original barrel contour. This is a 0.625″ OD that tapers to 0.580″ to match small diameter .30 caliber factory barrels with a 1/2″×28 RH threading, versatile use on many different 30 cal firearms, with a close matching OD to the 300 Win Mag Howa 1500 ( small diameter barrel ). It virtually eliminates recoil and minimizes muzzle rise. The unique combination of both braking and compensating features inspire shooter confidence and allows the shooter to make very fast follow up shots. Its unique chamber geometries give it a very soft feel in the shoulder and the gas exit ports dimensions have been optimized and strenuously tested to give the utmost control to the muzzle and felt recoil. The Classic Brake will make your highest power .30 caliber a pleasure to shoot time after time.

A muzzle brake or recoil compensator is a device connected to the muzzle of a firearm that redirects propellant gases to counter recoil and unwanted rising of the barrel during rapid fire.

The Classic muzzle brake / compensator is designed to take some of the kick out of the gun. As the bullet leaves the muzzle of the gun, the expanding gasses that follow quickly start escaping along the path of least resistance—which usually means slightly to the side and around the bullet. With the Classic muzzle brake, those gasses first hit a solid metal wall before being vented out the sides. Physics take over, and the pushing forward on that metal wall move the gun forward and counteract some of the rearward force of the gun.

Muzzle Brake/Compensator is High Quality 4140 Steel with a Black Oxide Finish.

We recommend using a BLUE THREAD LOCKER

NEVER USE A CRUSH WASHER

ALWAYS VERIFY YOUR MUZZLE DEVICE IS RATED FOR THE CALIBER YOU INTEND TO SHOOT

ALWAYS VERIFY PROPER ALIGNMENT BEFORE FIRING
