Designed for use on 5/8″-24 threaded barrels
This barrel extension fits 5/8″-24 threaded barrels, when installed it extends the barrel length by .7″ (just under 3/4 of an inch) to get that little extra length you need for some suppressors and devises to clear the hand guard. To install the Barrel EXTENSION, 5/8″-24, all you have to do is unscrew your thread protector, brake or other devise/accessory and then replace it with this adapter which will give you a .7″ extension to your barrel length and provides a 5/8″-24 thread on the end of the barrel. You are now ready to attach any devise/accessories that fits the 5/8″-24 threaded barrel. Barrel EXTENSION, 5/8″-24 is manufactured using the same type steels as gun barrels 416 Stainless with Natural Finish

For use with cartridges up to and including .45 caliber.
