This adapter fits all 9/16-24 threaded barrels, when installed allows the use of all .578″-28 threaded barrel devises or accessories. To install it, all you have to do is unscrew your 9/16″-24, break or other devise/accessory and then replace it with this adapter which will give you a .578″-28 male thread on the end of the barrel. You are now ready to attach any devise/accessories that fits the .578″-28 threaded barrel that is commonly used on the larger 45 cal. pistols. Adapter is High Quality 4140 Steel with Black Oxide Finish
