2-1/4″ Extra Long, 1/2″-28 to 1/2″-28 TPI BARREL EXTENSION – 3/4″ Diameter Body
Extension OAL = 2.650″ ( will add 2 1/4″ to your existing barrel )
This EXTRA LONG barrel extension fits 1/2″-28 threaded barrels, the most common use for this adapter is on AR Style rifles in 5.56/.223, when installed it extends the barrel length by 2-1/4″ to get that little extra length you need for some suppressors and devices to clear the hand guard. To install the Threaded Barrel Adapter, all you have to do is unscrew your thread protector, break or other device/accessory and then replace it with this adapter which will give you a 2-1/4″ extension to your barrel length and provides a 1/2-28 thread on the end of the barrel. You are now ready to attach any device/accessories that fits the 1/2-28 threaded barrel Adapter Extension. Material used is the same as gun barrels 4140 Chromoly Steel alloy with Black Oxide (hot blued) Finish

I had a somewhat hard time finding barrel extenders and this one fits the bill. I recommend! There was some drag installing, so the threads may be a bit tight,but it wasn’t overly difficult. And at least that way there’s no question as to thread looseness or engagement. Looks to be well machined and coaxial. Two areas to consider for improvement: Thread size may be a bit tight, and hex thickness for tightening with a tool is a bit to slim for my open-end wrench. Maybe a hex surface a bit wider (could not insert wrench with muzzle device installed on male thread. Minor concerns. Thanks for the great product!
